The free app

ETA: as long as you have a good 3G signal the video quality will be damn strong

I used the Justin.tv app on my iphone and it worked great... until my phone died. I think it was around $5 to download.

The CBS Sports app is awesome. I watched the Auburn/Bama game last season on my iPhone while in the car. The quality is much better than I thought.

slingbox is an awesome invention, buddy. i bought mine over a year ago, and it has paid for itself tenfold.

no subscriptions, no mobile tv fees, no nfl subscriptions. if it's on my television or dvr, it's on my iphone, ipad and laptop

i bought the simple single input one for around $100-$150. i only use it to watch tv or my dvr remotely, but i could unplug the cable receiver and use a dvd player, but watching tv is great!

My Slingbox feed is new from a friends home (Dish Network) but it is now saying I connect but there is a problem with the feed. The troubleshooting says it won't stream overseas which is a first for me.

What is my best option from my PC overseas? I am watching Baylor vs. A&M on my cable FOX Sports now but I do not want to miss the LSU Game.

Thanks,

Slingbox: "The troubleshooting says it won't stream overseas..."

Not correct. I have a Slingbox set up in CA, and I can stream from it all over the world. Its a great device.

But for any game on CBS, unless there is a local HD TV broadcast (like on ESPN America - but today they are broadcasting the OST - Texas game) the best solution by far is the CBSSports.com live feed, which is quite high quality. (If you get a "not authorized in your region" type of message, get a proxy server - Google it if you don't know about proxy servers.)

I wonder if I have the wrong one. I've got the CBS Sports app (Android) but only see scores and don't see a way to get to streaming video. It has some video clips but nothing streaming.

I downloaded cbs app and justintv app.

Couldn't get the cbs one to work but the justintv app worked pretty good on and off.

I watched much of the game in seaworld in san antonio today on my iphone.
