How many of you have actually shot a nice buck that you have seen on your camera? Seems like most of the big deer I see on camera never show up when I'm hunting

had this same talk with a co-worker the other day. I feel with the size of the property we hunt..somewhat small...that the bucks just move on and off the place...so you either catch them coming or going. Its very hard to pattern a mature buck on my place, once the season starts. i think this is the norm for most people, then of course there are always the luck ones.

I saw one we had on camera once but couldn't get a shot. Also went back after I shot one and I think I found a couple picture of him from way back before rifle season but thats about it.

Had 6 good bucks on camera last year. Ended up killing 2 of them.

The 3 best bucks we killed last year were all on camera. We did have 3 or 4 bucks on camera that were bigger than those that we killed, but they were random 1 time pictures. We had multiple pictures of the ones that we killed.
