ESPN Insider list who has an advantage in multiple areas. LSU was given the advantage at QB, WR, OL, DL, LB, DB, and Special Teams. Auburn was given that advantage at RB, and I can see that, but they were also given the advantage in the coaching column. What the hell?

Still thinking the coaches had something to do with the championship last year. They will realize that it was won because of Cam and Fairley.

I only see Malzahn and that's it. No way Ted Roof is in the same ballpark as John Chavis.

Don't read too much into it, every team LSU has played this season has had the coaching advantage according to ESPN

What about their WR coach? Dude's a freaking mastermind, I hear.

That editor must not check the grammar before putting it online because there are multiple mistakes in there. Either way, I don't think it really matters. They had to give Auburn something, right?

Malzahn offense has lit it up everywhere he has been and his tactics were studied by coaches like Chip Kelly. He was a HS coach about 5 or 6 years ago and has accelerated through the college ranks with crazy speed. He could've been a HC at a BCS program last year if had a better offer than Vandy which was willing to break the bank for him. As much as I love what Stud and Krags has done with our offense, they have way more talent at their disposal than what Gus has at Auburn right now and it isn't even close.

Never heard that one and I am not doubting you. I don't know much about their WR coach. I do believe that their recruiting staff rivals just about any other school's staff in the nation but that doesn't make them better game coaches.

Judging by the end of the article, they are giving the edge at coaching because of Chizik.

That's the dumbest reason. Chiz rode with Cam and Fairley on the Gus Bus to the national championship. Prior to that, he has done nothing. Sorta like a Kiffin type of hookup but this guy actually has a little bit of class unlike douchebag Kiff. If he has such a coaching edge then why does his defense suck and got handled by Utah State since he is a defensive coach?

Plus 15 trillion.
2009 No Cam 31-10 LSU
Miles, Chavis, Stud, Krags, Gonzales, Wllson, etc. is one of the top 5 coaching staffs in the nation.
To say that Auburn has the advantage in coaching over LSU is the most incorrect sentence ever uttered, written, posted, or otherwise communicated in the history of the Milky Way Galaxy.........
The person(s) who wrote this should be strangled with his own bowels by Hannibal Lector....

Chizik is one hell of a nice looking coach with a big chin to just sit and watch the Cam Newton Show last year. I think its more of a beauty contest, and well we all know how Les does in that department.

Can you imagine how good LSU would have been the last 6 years plus now if we had a good coaching staff. Instead of having this dumbass going for his 70th win at LSU this weekend, we would have a coach going for his 87th win this weekend.

Oh I can definitely see why.
Chizik had a sterling record at Iowa State and has been at Auburn a mind-boggling 2 1/2 years and has forged an impressive 13-7 record without their free agent Florida reject employee QB.

Meanwhile, Miles has only been at LSU a paltry 6 1/2 years and has only won 5 out of 6 bowl games, not even 100%. He has only won 80% of his 86 games - pitiful, and has only won 1 NC. He has only finished in the top ten a measly 4 times in 6 years and is ranked a pathetic number 1 in the nation. That's just turrible....

You have to include an experienced offensive line in the mix as well. They created opportunities for the QB and RBs that just aren't there this year for Auburn. I doubt they'd be a chapionship contender this year even if they had Cam and Fairley.
