Is it ok to be "that guy" that messes with all my friends that didn't go/graduate from LSU?

Or should we all just be a brotherhood of purple and gold today?

Seeing a lot of friends on Facebook who went to loyola, Tulare UNO, ULM, acting like they have always been big LSU fans.

No. Today is not that day. That's a summer topic. Today is day that we must all band together for one common goal. Destruction of Tide Nation.

And yes, I graduated from LSU. But who cares?

Some of us had actual athletic ability and decided we would take a free education. The first thing I did on Saturdays though when our game was over was to try and catch the LSU game.

umm... most of the people i know were fans of LSU before college.

should they have changed teams to whatever school they attended? that doesn't make sense.

does it really matter? if they are supporting the purple and gold it good to me!

I have UGA fan dressed in LSU colors today because they hate Bama and I love it.

It's more than what college you went to its about state pride. I love pulling for damn strong football players from the area. LSU has that.

Does that actually bother your friends when you do that? Cause if it does that would make them kinda lame. And if it doesn't then you'd be the guy going around trying to needle people but failing miserably.

Nice Avi picture by BTW. I like that.

I went to La Tech but have always been an LSU fan. Some of us choose schools for different reasons but it has nothing to do with who we root for. I spent many days and nights at LSU games before going to college, during and after including many road trips. I was going to games in the bad days and good. I held season tickets for some time until I moved away from Louisiana in 2000 and found it hard to make most games… LSU had no problem with me buying season tickets…

I have plenty of friends who went to LSU and they could careless weather I went to LSU or not. Most of them would tell you that I am a bigger fan then they are.

I cheer for all Louisiana teams except when they play LSU as well and I didn’t go to any of those schools either.

How about we narrow it down even further? Only those who have been Tiger Fans for 40 plus years can call themselves REAL LSU fans today.

Stop trying to elevate your fandome. It's infantile. Today is a day to broaden the LSU fan base, not alienate people and divide. Seriously, what is mentally wrong with you?
