Losing Brockers may seal the deal in LSU gettin Super Mario. Mario Edwards has said that early playing time is VERY important.

Brockers was recruited as a DE and look where he plays.

I completely agree with this statement. I just hope that our fanbase will tone down the rhetoric and support our team and staff, as difficult as it may be right now. The game plan was horrible as was Jefferson, but it is over and now it is time to focus on a great recruiting class and getting to the Orange Bowl and bringing home the title next year.

I completely agree with this statement. I just hope that our fanbase will tone down the rhetoric and support our team and staff, as difficult as it may be right now. He no more said that than the man in the moon. He did HINT to the fact Brockers declaring opened the door for someone like Edwards to possibly get in the rotation quicker. He also indicated that depth with LSU was a concern with Mario's desire for immediate playing time.
But contrary to your post, Ponamsky did NOT indicate that Brockers declaring early for the draft may seal the deal. The Kid has not even made an LSU on campus visit. That is a must for Les and this staff.
Let's keep the story somewhat representative of what was said.....
