My Turd Ice Cream Sundae: Best analogy for this season.

It's like spending a lot of time making the perfect ice cream sundae, but instead of putting a cherry on top, we dropped a big dirty turd on top and ruined the whole thing.
Truly the worst loss in all of LSU sports history in my opinion. If you were to ask me 4 years ago what my wost nightmare scenario would be, I would have said, it would be an undefeated LSU team getting dominated by a Nick Saban coached Alabama team in the National Championship game in New Orleans and being shut out.
With that said, I love my Tigers, and we'll be back. I reconfirm my love for LSU and my absolute hatred of Alabama and look forward to playing them again.

It's def. up there, a good comparison for me is the 2006 final four loss to UCLA. That team was very talented and had played very well for most of the tournament and just laid an absolute egg in that game.

Yep and it's each fan's choice whether they'd rather throw the whole sundae away or just remove the turd and the parts of the sundae that it touched. Personally, I'm a big proponent of the 5 second rule so I'll still enjoy the rest of my sundae.

It really depends on the nature of the turd ... Was it solid and can be easily removed or was it a full blown blowout permeating the entire sundae?
