Watched last night. Outstanding movie with a great message for fathers and families. I give it five stars!

Not gonna lie I got pretty emotional a few times and I'm not even a father yet. Losing a child is my absolute biggest fear in life.

How does it compare to Facing the Giants and Fireproof? The messages were good but the acting was mediocre.

Much better acting story plot and execution. The subject matter was a bit grittier as well.

The wife wanted to watch it yesterday. It was ok, acting wasn't the best. Overall it was better than I thought it was going to be.

with a lower budget independent church driven movie you aren't going to get Brando level performances. That being stated I believe they achieved a home run with this movie for the audience and they proved you can have an overt positive message in a movie and still be intriuging.

Good, we liked Fireproof and look forward to seeing this one. We wanted to see it in the theater but with 3 small children, we don't get out much.

Wathched it over the weekend with the wife after the kids went to bed. I agree, every husband or father should se this movie.

Thought it was a great movie. Another movie that makes me cry over the kid situation. I hope God keeps blessing them to make these movies. The acting is fine. They dont need celebs, even tho Fireproof had Kirk Cameron.

Wasn't all that excited to watch it after seeing Facing the Giants and Fireproof (I thought the acting was at a high school level in both)....but Courageous is legit. Very good movie that I would recommend to everyone.
