Looking to get a Vacuum Sealer...just started researching and the Foodsaver brands seem to be the most popular but I have to say the Gamesaver that they advertise on Outdoor Channel did not get good reviews. I'm sure some of you guys package your own venison, fish, etc. What say y'all?

Only ones I`ve had dealings with is the Foodsavers.
They are good machines.

I got a food saver for Christmas and I really like it although I'm not a hunter. It's really easy to use and cheap overall. I like it to buy in bulk and be able to separate into individual packages

Thats why I'm gonna get one in a few weeks. I like to go to sams and buy in bulk when I can.

Cabela's CG 15...it's worth the price. Will outlast the smaller units by many, many years.

I've had the Food Saver sealer for just about 6 years now.I use it for all my deer and fish and really enjoy it.I'm thinking about buying a big commerical sealer and offer a service for deer and fish during the winter season when my regular job slows down.Seems to be alot of people looking for this in my area.

$460 in the latest magazines. I save points on my Cabela's Visa and get stuff for "free" that way. I burned up a few Food Savers and decided to go commercial size about 7 years ago. It's as good as new. No job I need to do is too big.I usually freeze the neighbors' stuff, too.
