Not a chance...I would be willing to bet the SEC East and West winners each are National Seeds

Look, you can bookmark this: barring a catastrophic collapse over the next 3 weeks, this team will be a top 8 seed.

Hardly ever. Even Georgia who shite the bed for weeks down the stretch in 2008 got a national seed.

Its pretty funny how the general feeling with tiger fans right now is a nervous feeling that the committee will find a way to screw us over (myself included). It seems like every week no matter how well we do, i have this feeling like it isnt good enough and we have so far to go to "get there".

I am a little nervous due to not playing anyone OOC and LSU's lost three series and potentially four with South Carolina coming up. LSU can win the SEC with three series losses (four overall).

The RPI number is great but LSU is looking at a 7 or 8 seed which means we're right on the edge of not getting one if we slip up any.

Yea we are obviously playing a great deal better then we were when we lost the Auburn series and app state pounded us on that Sunday. However, it still hurts to think about what a missed opportunity it was to put ourselves in an even better position at this point if we could have taken those series. Hopefully we can push trough these last two weekends and make the early struggles a non-factor and gain a national seed.

The guy at SEbaseball used that to justify not having LSU as a national seed. That has to be the dumbest justification I have heard. First of all, non-conference SOS is a component of RPI. Second, if you are going to isolate a metric to overemphasize, why pick the one that includes exclusively games played in February/March or in the midweek - the least important days of the college baseball season? LSU has a competitive strength of schedule, but it is almost exclusively built on a competitive conference schedule. When are those games played? On the weekends in April and May - the most important days of the season. While LSU is playing at Ole Miss, at South Carolina, etc., national seed contender UNC took the week off to charge their batteries for an intense finish to the regular season versus VT, BC and Duke. Ridiculous.

Vandy beat the tar out of LSU last season. That was one of the worst 3 game series beatdowns of LSU in recent memory.

It's absolute BULLSHITE the number of times the ACC gets 3 top 8 seeds...OUTRAGEOUS pollster/media bias has totally infiltrated the baseball selection comttee.
The BEST conference year after year after year after year...should be awarded the most national seeds...NOT the biggest under-achiever group from the ACC...it'sjust sooooo blatant yet not a soul complains !!!!!!!!
