I've used Craigslist for this many times when getting wood for the smoker. Give it a try...

Where is firewood mostly listed on craigslist? General? Farm and Garden? What is a 1/2 cord or cord going for? I gotta get some, down to my last lil bit.

If you were closer I could hook you up with wood. Craigslist will be hard to beat but you can also call around to some tree removal guys. I let people pick up wood for free, saves me on haul off.

Man I wish I lived closer. I would sure come do it myself. I dont have any crop claims in and plenty of time on my hands to cut my own.
