Faulk leaving may be a blessing in disguise

Collins will be the best LT in the league. Better than Cuntjo, or Matthews. Getting both Wiliford and Turner in the lineup adds lots of bulk.

Yep, top 3 o-lineman in country leaving early is always a blessing.

WTF are you talking about. Faulk didn't play a lick last year. How is he a top 3 OL?

Neaux. Collins will remain at Guard. He's our best run blocker and the coaches like him there. Looking for Jerald Hawkins, or Ethan Pocic to push for time there.

Pocic not physically ready. Hard for true freshman to come right in to sec play. Don't really know enough about Hawkins.

I wouldn't say blessing in disguise as much as I'd say we have the talent to mitigate what would otherwise be a massive loss. Faulk is an experienced 1st round level LT. I hope Collins can step up and be that kind of player. Time will tell. We have pretty outstanding depth at O Line which is what makes what would otherwise be a huge loss not such a huge deal. But we're now not as deep with his departure and we all know the injury bug can put you in a tough spot when that's the case.

For better or worse Collins is a guard to this staff, and that's where he'll stay. They're not going to "start over" with him at this point.
Vadal to LT, Jerald Hawkins to RT is probably the bet to start against TCU

OL was hardly the strongest part of the team, especially when the injuries struck, and now we lose two starters.
Faulk leaving is not a blessing.

The only positive about Faulk leaving is that we'll get some experience at LT for our run in 2014.

At 6'7 285 Pocic will be a early enrollee dude. No doubt if he can put on 15-20 lbs before next season he may push for time

Didn't realize Pocic was an early enrollee, he'll definitely be ready to contribute by the fall

Any player that really doesn't want to be here ....
Leaving the team will ultimately be better for the team.
