(Pay Wall)

If you don't count Duncan as a center AND since Drummond shares the court with Monore-leaving the question of who is the five. The rankings are as this for the 2012-13 season
with WARP being the metric

1. Noah (6.66)
2.Marc Gasol (6.60)
3. Brook Lopez (6.44)
4.Tyson Chandler (6.32)
5. Howard (5.68)

*Gasol being the only non All-Star (snub)

Of all big men though LeBron tops the leaderboard again this week.

Agree or disagree? Anyone here think Howard should sit out the All-Star game?(raises hand)

Considering the other four centers listed don't have a vagina, I naturally agree.

Trade happened over 5 years ago and he was playing in a different system at the time. You're a fricking idiot.

It was.

Just because shite worked out okay doesn't mean the trade was legitimate.

Oh, and Dwight is a massive pussy, maybe the biggest on the planet. It's just hilarious at this point.

I think Marc Gasol is the best true Center in the NBA right now

Not having Noah in the Top 5 Centers list this season takes away the credibility. Noah has been the best defensive player in the league this year and minus scoring does everything else extremely well, the best passing big man by a mile.

Per Hoopdata:

quote:

Joakim Noah is in first with 4.5 per game, the first time he’s eclipsed the rough “three per game is a good passing big man” plateau.

However it says

quote:

It’s the fourth name on the list that I want to talk about, because I think Greg Monroe may be the league’s best passer out of the low post. His 3.4 assists per game are solid and, without digging deeper, show a passing skill most big men don’t have. However, unlike the other names around him on the leader board, Monroe isn’t really an inside-outside big man in terms of the shots he takes.

quote:

For example, Noah’s 4.3 assists are spread more normally across the floor in percentage terms than are Monroe’s, which are almost exclusively at the rim or threes, the best “type” of shots a player can get for their teammates.

I've quoted a good bit of this article so here is the link: Greg Monore's Emergence as Passer

1.Cousins has been terrible.
2.Noah has been the best center this season bar none

I don't consider Noah a true center. He may play the 5 but he's really just a Forward.

As far as Cousins goes he averages 17.3 ppg (3rd among Centers), 10 rpg (6th among Centers), 2.9 apg (5th among Centers)

Also cousins has 23 double doubles and is only one of 5 Centers this season to record a triple double

Maybe you just think he's horrible because Sacramento is rarely on primetime TV

But, but...he's hurt. He is fine. He wouldn't have been able to pull 16 boards the other night if he was in that much pain. If Kobe wasn't on his arse though, he wouldn't be playing.

I don't buy that he is fine, but if wouldn't whine so much no I wouldn't be asking the question.

Yeah he's definitely not fine. There's no way you can watch Dwight jump and/or move around and say he's fine, unless you hadn't seen him play in previous seasons.
