Gilligan tells EW "there will be blood" in the final run, but for him the most intense moments won't necessarily be the violent ones: "To my mind, that's not the most interesting thing. It's the emotional moments and the character moments. ... We've got some stuff that I think is going to be truly satisfying and truly shocking and jarring. It does not always center on moments of violence."
The "Breaking Bad" writers found themselves with a lot of story still to tell in the final episodes, and consequently they will move at "breakneck speed," Gilligan says. "You need to really settle down on the couch and pay close attention because it's going to come at you fast and furious in the final eight episodes."
Gilligan also says those waiting for Walter White (Bryan Cranston) to get his comeuppance may be disappointed -- or not? "Trying to give away as little as possible, I feel like this ending represents on some level, however small, something of a victory for Walter White," he says. "Read into that what you will. And try to be as open-minded as possible when you watch this episode, because it may not indeed feel like a victory."
Cannot. Wait.

Wish they wouldnt have taken so long. Makes it a little less dramatic at the moment but when it happens will be awesome

This could literally mean anything. He could become the biggest kingpin in the country, he could get out poor and return to his family, he could die and leave his family with a vast fortune. Ugh, I hate waiting.

Holeee shite..
I watched seasons 1 to current over the last couple of months and I'm obsessing about this show now.
That interview makes it even worse. In a good way

Sounds like me, watched 1-4 running up to 5. Watched the first of 5 live. Now, really thinking I am going to go buy the first 8 of Season 5 to get back into it.

I'm guessing he sacrifices himself to save his family or Jesse

Good idea. I bought them on Prime and will be watching them again leading up to
August 11. AMC will probably run a marathon around that time too I'm sure.

The full-page spread picture in the latest Entertainment Weekly promoting it all has Walter posing like he's dead holding the bathroom book with Jesse standing behind him looking very much alive.
But hey who knows, all I know
wait for it
again
is
Ted is not dead! (man I hope something pans out on this as much as I've said it)
I hope Skyler and Jr. are, though.
Again, my own personal theory, and it's running with the theory others have that Walter is wearing some sort of wire in the flash-forward scene, is that it is not a wire for the police (although if he is indeed wearing one it is a good idea) that the wire is to explosives or something he has come up "science, yeah Mr. White" style for the ending of all endings. That's my prediction and I'm sticking with it.

That's the first thing I thought of too, which makes me think it won't happen because I haven't been able to predict jack and shite with this show.

That's the best, and sometimes most frustrating, part about Gilligan. He tells you something about it that could mean anything. He is a master at telling you something, yet telling nothing.
Less than two months away

Really looking forward to this but objectively it feels like the series is ending prematurely.

Agree. Why are they ending it? If they have to rush it, it would seem as if they could have gone another season. Did the actors (cranston) want to move on to other gigs or something?

It was something Gilligan had in his mind from the start and he is sticking to it, despite probably getting more acclaim than he ever thought it would.
While it sucks it is ending, I think it's fine it is ending like this, depending on how smashed together these last eight are

I actually think it should have ended sooner. I love the show, but it has gone on too long to be very believable anymore. No way would his Brother-In-Law not have figured it out by now.

Read that yesterday. Can't wait and will be sad to see it go.

Would you say you are Counting the days like a Tiger fan waiting for Omaha?
Try to Control your obsessing or a Cop may have to intervene.
