He may just not like the neighbors, the closet space or the commute. When you have that much money it's a lot easier to move on a whim or view your house as an investment to buy low/sell high/ cut your losses on. There are plenty of legit reasons to sell besides he thinks he's getting traded.

Doubt it was the reasoning behind putting it up for sale.
Why would he put it up now (in anticipation of being traded), when there is no solid indicators that he won't be with the team after this year?

He's had a lot of bad luck in that house-- his nanny died there last year during the playoffs and his house just got ransacked of $500k worth of stuff.
