Searched, but not working ATM.

I am thinking of switching my family plan from AT&T to T-Mobile simply to save around $80 bucks a month for the same plan.. because it better fits our family needs (especially the unlimited music app streaming any where), but I am curious if the service is really bad or not.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

The general consensus seems to be TMobile's network is good in cities, bad in rural areas. They have a Test Drive option where they loan you an iPhone for a week to test their network for yourself LINK
