LSU thrives on PA off the power run game and if the OL can't block the run, the passing game will suffer. Harris isn't mature enough to carry the team on his back and isn't big enough to run consistently against a defense like Alabama's.

Should go back to the screens, bubbles of Crowton years. Ha!
Harris threw an outstanding TD pass in this game. Should have put more receivers on the field, even if they knew it was a pass.. we had a better chance than running into a brick wall all night. Harris had 1 INT, but the tight end was unsure of it and didn't even make a play on it.. I felt like Harris was getting much more comfortable passing as the game went on, but by that point it was too late and not enough possessions..

He was mature enough to keep us in the game when the run did nothing in the first half.

Of course you are correct. Les' fantasy is his big uglies going against their big uglies and winning. it doesn't work like that in real life. In real life they stack the box and they have equal athletes to ours and there are no holes. This is in no way a knock on our talent - I think its as good as Bamas for the most part but in football if the other team knows what your going to do they can stop you - even when you play weaker teams. So you need some deception - not like a half back pass but some wrinkles so the other team cant just stack up between the tight ends. Les himself said the Bama safeties were making a lot of tackles near the line - well that's because they're blowing off the pass, they don't have anything to do but come up and stack the run. Stubborn. And his claim that we were in position to win 3 of the last 5 so why would we change? That's just not true.
January 9, 2012 New Orleans, LA #2 Alabama 21–0
November 3, 2012 Baton Rouge, LA #1 Alabama 21–17
November 9, 2013 Tuscaloosa, AL #1 Alabama 38–17
November 8, 2014 Baton Rouge, LA #5 Alabama 20–13OT
November 7, 2015 Tuscaloosa, AL #4 Alabama 30–16
So that's in a position to win only 2 of the last 5. And the 6th game we won 9-6 arguably only because Bama missed 3 field goals in regulation and a fourth in ot. For us to do better Les needs to change. He needs an intervention. Someone needs to sit him down and explain that no Les we were really only in 2 of the last 5 and the one before that was great and all but all Saban had to do was go recruit a kicker. So I made a conscious decision to be less emotionally invested. Like I still love my tigers but this year I didn't throw anything or scream f bombs or shoot the bird at the screen every time they show Saban - none of that. I just watched and joked with my friends. Its ridiculous to get all worked up over it when Les isn't going to change. He doesn't think there's anything wrong because he doesn't realize we've gotten our hat handed to us for more than half a decade. Meanwhile these kids come in here buying into Les' fantasy world and are practicing their asses off, lifting like crazy, working themselves to death cuz Les tells them this is our year and we're gonna beat Bama if we just work hard......... and then we go out and get the tar whipped out of us. Like not just the score ---- our guys took some huge individual hits and you could tell they were thinking "hey we're supposed to be doing that to them???" So until Les changes expect to continue to be owned by Bama which I F***ING HATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is somewhat correct. Harris unfortunately doesnt run the offense. Miles and Cam do. Harris is a puppet
