I say a little of both, JJ coaching skills are weak no doubt. BS coming to college without no offensive skills is undeniable makes him overrated.

I think he's subpar on defense. Really good on offense in the post. His teammates and his coaches choose not to feed him the ball b/c he's always getting doubled. I'd say he's a little bit of both given the circumstances he's dealing with. He'll be much better surrounded by NBA players tho.

Ben Simmons is not overrated at all it is coaching. We knew Ben Simmons didn't have a jump shot of you followed him in high school but when you get to college the coach is supposed to at least improve your game or put you in the position to help the team win but jj doesn't have a clue what to do with any of them. Brandon Sampson should have more confidence and his game should have improved but we don't have the coach to do it. If you look at the double high play we run and all the time that was good for Mickey and Martin but victor and Simmons are not Mickey and Martin so there should have been some change to the offense before the year started

Simmons is not overrated. he just doesn't do what you think the top rated player should do. A player doesn't have to score 30 pts a game to be great. Have you seen how fast he can move leading a fast break. Getting double digit rebounds is a lot harder than some of you realize.

If you are frustrated with this team, I totally understand. If you think Ben is overhyped, I don't agree with you, but that's fine, I can at least see where you may be coming from. If you think he has no offensive skills, then you are clueless about basketball.

I call him more overhyped than overated... I mean ALL year his every move was covered and the media thought he was the next WHOEVER... Sad for him.. BUT I would like to see more passion from him....

Peej has no clue, but Ben is both. He has the potential to be the goat. Having said that he still needs COACHING/GUIDANCE, which he is getting none of either

Hard to get frustrated with this team has never shown anything that would be considered top 50 college basketball. The early non conference loses to no bodies where not a fluke.

Simmons is all we had on offense in the first half. His coach does nothing for him though. With that said, he doesn't have that mentality to take over the game like you would expect for someone with his physical tools. Of course, when you hear LeBron comparisons, your expectations get high. He is not close to being on that level offensively.

Ben does not have any offensive skills no matter how bad his coaching is, check out his offensive moves today there are none.. He will get better in the NBA, but he will struggle with scoring.

This whole team has been under coached. Plus no other coach in the country would have given Darcy Malone an athletic scholarship.

Just stop dude. A passive player with no offensive skills doesn't average 20 points and 5 assists.

He's needs to stop being passive. I wish he had that fire where he wanted the ball all game long and he just shot and shot and shot.
