A few questions about MLS and American managers.

1. Has MLS quality of play steadily progressed from its inception, or has it remained relatively the same?
2. Do all MLS teams have Youth academies, how many kids on average are in the academy system and how do they compare operationally to European youth academies?
3. What's the highest level of club football an American manager has achieved?

Mls in 2007 made it so all mls teams have to have academies.

Cool, I just know that Dallas and LA have good really good ones. Maybe Seattle as well.

I'd have to think the academy teams have really taken off over the past few years. I looked at the standings of the US Development league and MLS academies dominated all across the country. 6-8 years ago when my friends played travel, I'm not sure that was the case.
