Couples who workout together

Any OT members workout with their SO? I was at the gym this morning and got to hear a couple argue for almost 2 hours. The guy was trying to tell his wife/girlfriend how to properly do exercises, and she was not having it. I think about how awesome it would be to have a girl that I could go to the gym with and motivate each other, and stay in shape together. And it seems like it would be good foreplay. But then I see something like I do this morning and think, nah.
Edit for bonus brag: I did 1,180 lbs. on leg press for a new 3 rep max this morning.

My wife and I go together occasionally, but I'll put emphasis on GO together.
Once we get there, we each do our own thing. She prefers cardio/circuit shite and I do my own thing too.
Occasionally we will take a spin class together or something. I imagine working out with a woman is similar to playing any sport with a woman. It's frustrating because they suck.

A few times with my wife, same thing. In case you haven't noticed women loathe being told what to do even if it's right.

I know I'm an excellent beacon of monogamy but....
I enjoyed working out together with wife 1 when we lived in Dallas, running alot with wife 2, and
little of both with sig other now.
Telling your woman what to do in a gym, how to pace herself on a run, etc. NEVER GOES well.

I dunno but I see this couple at our gym all the time. The guy just walks around the whole fuggin time while the chick works out like a beast. He basically hovers by her, then walks off and does nothing, then walks by her again. Guess he just goes to ward off people moving in on his squirrel.

My wife knows how to lift properly so I treat her like I do everybody else in there when we go at the same time. Music on, cap low don't talk to me

This is mostly my experience too. I see this one couple all the time. She is a beast, got those thic toned thighs and a butt like a dream. And he is a little skinny guy that barely does anything when they are in there.

Yeah my SO comes to the gym with me sometimes but does her own thing. If you're doing the same routine as your SO you probably need to go harder in the paint. Those Gainz aren't gonna get locked in doing what your SO is doing.

Every guy I see working out at the gym with their girlfriend looks frustarted miserable and annoyed
The only workout partners you should have are ones who will help you get better. Therefore men should only workout with other men because women do not have it in them to push a man to get better at the gym
