If Mourinho stays at United for another decade or longer, and keeps piling trophies into his cabinet, does he become the greatest manager in history?
Right now Fergie is probably #1 in a lot of people's minds, and for good reason, but Mou is currently tied with the great SAF with 4 major UEFA trophies, good for second all time.
Mourinho is the first coach in history to win both a Champions League and Europa League on multiple occasions

Jose is currently sitting on 33 trophies won in his career (counting shields).
With Ferguson sitting in first place at 48 trophies, will he ever be able to reach and surpass this club legend and be the greatest the world has ever seen?

He'll need to win a couple of more CLs to get into the convo, but I wouldn't put anything past him. He's one of the GOATs.

Nobody (in England) will win as many league titles as SAF because of how much more competitive it is now.

It was extremely competitive then

Arsenal and Chelsea had two of the greatest teams ever and both made it to champions league finals, Liverpool went to two champions league finals.

I'm talking about in the mid-late 90s early 00s when Man U was winning like 8 out of 10 or whatever it was. Arsenal had a good little run in there and then Chelsea's money came in and now everything is kind of changed.

Still think he's overrated, even though he's managing the team I support.

It's pretty insane how close he came to never winning the CL. The biggest miracle in the sports history and a slippery pitch was all that separated him from getting shut out.

Zidane has had a pretty GOATish start to his career. If he sticks around Real for long enough(lol, they will get fickle like always and sack him eventually) he has a chance to really pad his resume in an unprecedented way

If Mourinho stays at United he sure as hell not win another Champions League trophy, he needs to move to a first tier team for that to happen. Staying at United does no good for him.

You have to be more subtle to get any bites.
