I run a 10 team PPR league and we just implemented Auction Waiver Wire feature this year. Anywho....i wake up and check the activity board for my league this morning. Some dumbass spent the lionshare of his $100 for the season on the Panther's D ($25) and Jared Cook ($50). Almost an hour later he text me asking if i can reset his auction total or up the auction budget it was a mistake

nope.

How exactly does he make this "mistake"? Is he claiming he thought he typed a different number, or is he just saying that he regrets bidding so much on them and wants his money back?

Either way, sounds like he's shite out of luck.

he's saying he thought it was a weekly budget not a yearly budget. but i included that tidbit in BOLD in an email before the Draft and in a note on this league message board yesterday.

Hell no, there's no way he could actually believe this. If it was a weekly budget, everyone would just bid $100 on the top waiver wire claim each week.

In a first year doing it this way, i could see someone not familiar making this mistake. If there was a way to refund his money and place those two back on waivers, I think that would be reasonable.

First week of first year in the new system, etc. But not really anything else you can do
