Give me the rundown on yalls season thus far. I know in the past y’all have had some good teams particularly on the offensive side of the ball. Skip Holtz is a hell of a G5 coach.

This game will be big for y’all and I anticipate that they’ll give it all they got.

Take LSU and the under

No quarterback to speak of

Your welcome

The game won’t be big because HCSH does not care about OOC games.

That didn’t help at all but okay.

Great analysis

If the line opens at > 24 this seems like a classic "letdown" situation to me

I’ll try again

Tech has talent across the board:
DL is good
DBs are excellent
Linebackers are serviceable
Skill players on O are good
Oline has many WTF moments
QB looks like a superstar in warm ups but is a deer in headlights come gametime
Punters and PK are not the level that Tech has typeically enjoyed

Holts places little emphasis on P5 games - he will work on specific items during the game to get ready for conference play.

I don’t think Holts has beaten a P5 school since he been in Ruston during regular season - Holts is amazing in post season - he has LaTech looking like a good P5 team for the last 4 or 5 bowl games.

Tech’s is no where near as explosive as when Sonny Dykes was in Ruston - but the D is much better.

Most people that support Tech are holding their nose this week, accepting an L and will get ready for CUSA.

They once had the premier women's college basketball program in the country.

Gotcha! You know your shite I can dig it. Outside of LSU in Louisiana I actually like Tech. They keep it traditional with the uniforms and that offense is fun to watch.

So maybe a competitive first half then LSU ends up winning by 17 or so?

Nah - more - I am guessing the line opens at 25.5 or so.

LSU is looking like a playoff team.
LaTech will be lucky to be in the CUSA West hunt.

Final score will be 47-7 or so

Tech will be up for the game and LSU could lay a bit of an egg off of such a big game. I see it being really close at half, LSU getting there arse in year and pulling away in the 4th quarter.

Tech is off a bye week also. Ed O wont run up score on instate team even if we do click this game. i could see 34-10

Agree with the analysis and score prediction. QB is serviceable at best. He’s made better throws and decisions this year but that’s not saying much compared to his resume so far.

Running game is down from years past mostly due to O line. Some good receivers.

Defense has been solid especially up front. We should be competitive in conference but I agree likely not in the hunt for the championship. New Orleans or independence bowl bound. Again!

Try telling a bunch of kids that grew up in Louisiana “Oh we’re just going down there to work on a few kinks.” They may take that approach in other games but they’ll be preparing their arse off to do more than just fine tune their playbook. Still think LSU wins easy assuming they’re engaged early.

Yep - he could very well be the best player on the field next Saturday and in Baton Rouge.

Dude is a the purest CB I have seen in a long time.

40 from LSU
9 from LSU
21 from LaTech
Will be getting NFL paychecks soon.

That’s so stupid. I’m not saying you’re wrong but this pisses me off if it’s true. Who gives a frick about respecting your opponent? Not saying keep the starters in but run your offense the whole game even if it’s your 3rd string. There’s no excuses to why the score shouldn’t be 55-10 or 65-13.

Don’t you think our 2nd team having a good game is good moving foward Incase they get called up for other games to start?

Running game is fine. Dancy has been pretty good (10 yards/carry so far), they limited him in the previous game and I don’t believe he played as much in the second half of South Alabama.

LSU beat SELA 31-0. I wouldnt expect 50 points unless Tech coughs up the ball.

J’Mar had 2 INT issue the first game, and a 3rd was more on the WR. He generally has taken good care of the ball since the MSU game last year where there were a few fumbles (and one infamously bad snap fumble). The defense won’t allow 40 on their own. The way I see LSU scoring big is if they got something off special teams or a few turnovers for a score.

Dude Tech is good. They've been a top 40 or 50 program over the last 5 or so years. LSU should win against a CUSA team every time, but it's not like theyre playing Southeastern again.

Other top 10 programs beat teams like Tech by 50 or 40 plus every year. There’s no excuse
