Anyone read this whole series? I jumped in on the third book, Great Sky River years ago and I enjoyed it a lot. The fourth book was also good but I got burned out reading the fifth, Furious Gulf. Is it worth going back and reading the first two? Does the last book tie things up?

No one? Well, it seems like there are a lot of sci fi fans here, I would recommend Great Sky River at least. Interesting world building. The author is from the gulf coast and is an astrophysicist.
