And dont finish top 4, does that knock another English side out or are they added in to CL play-ins?

I thought rule changed couple years ago?

It did

The max number of teams a league can have in the competition is 5

The only way they would knock out the fourth placed team is if Spurs won CL, Arsenal or Chelsea won EL, and both teams that won those competitions finished outside top 4
