Anyone here have a Switch that wouldn’t turn on or charge?

I grabbed it this morning out of the dock and it won’t turn on.
I took the AC adaptor out and plugged it directly into the wall and it won’t charge, I don’t get a charging symbol.
It worked fine yesterday.
Has this happened to anyone here?
Any way to fix?

Yea it happened to ours. I don't remember what I did but I do remember I googled the solution. Something about a hard reset and holding the power button for an extended amount of time.

I tried holding it for 30 seconds and nothing happened.

Try using a lightning cable for charging a MacBook before you do anything crazy.
The switch has the exact same port and it worked like a jewel for me.

nothing is working, I grabbed it this morning and I actually got to the title screen but it said that it was about to go in sleep mode and then just shut off. I dont get any kind of charging symbol when I have it on dock. I might just leave it on there for a couple of days and see if it does something after days of being on the dock. The fact that I got to title screen means something was happening.
I just downloaded Hollow Knight, Cup Head, about to beat Golf Story, finally started Breath of the Wild and only 1 hour into it, little CB started Odyssey, what a fuggin shite show

I have had this happen a few times and I found a kid on youtube that showed me a weird combo of button presses with the power button reset the machine.
It worked and I haven't had the problem since.
I'm not really sure what it did.

This happened to mine and I had to send it in. It luckily I was still under warranty. Love the games on the switch but the hardware issues and controller issues with the Switch are too rapid. Nintendo acknowledged the joy con issue but mine started having the issue once they were out of warranty and Nintendo still won’t acknowledge the pro controller left thumb stick has a major issue that causes it to quit working correctly. I’ve decided to go third party controllers from here on out.

Right before I was about to mail it off today I said frick it and bought a new AC adapter at gamestop just to see.
