What's a library...Kinda like the internet?

A lot of people complain about Middleton library but LSU has made some pretty nice sized renovations to buildings around campus in the last seven years. For example:
It’s true that Middleton is an embarrassment and should have been razzed years ago, but that has nothing whatsoever to do with the Ops building.

Maybe one of the retired librarians can donate money to have it restored.

(2017): The new and improved UREC facility with the lazy river for ALL students totaled around $84.5 million dollars after the three phases of the project were completed. I’m not advocating that everything they did here was necessary.
I think the money for this came from a student election in which the students voted to assess a fee on themselves. I might be confusing this with a Union fee.

My understanding is that the primary problem is a leaky roof. This costs a whopping $11 at your local Lowe's. I guarantee it will stop the leak. They also sell a 5 gallon bucket if needed. Surely some engineering student with some initative can figure out how to use it.

A lot of the money that was used to renovate those areas came from... wait for it.... LSU athletics!!! Funny how that works...

You are exactly right, if LSU wanted the roof fixed and the damage repaired they would have done it already; however, they had bigger fish to fry.

They allocate dollars to the more important buildings first. Hence engineering and business get it first. The worthless fine arts schools need to shut up and wait.
