Downvote - take over exiting owner's team to make a keeper decision

Downvote for sure.

That puts the new owner at a pretty big disadvantage. Even if the prior owner's team was dog shite, at least the new owner would have the opportunity to get a player at a better value. Starting with a clean slate doesn't even give you that chance.

This isnt for a specific roster. This is for a rule decision. Sorry, should have stated that.

Would everyone in the league start fresh? If not, the new person is at a huge disadvantage if they have to and everyone else gets a keeper.

Both of my keeper leagues go with the taking over an existing team route for new players.
