Absolutely incredible course. Just got done playing with my cousin. If you're ever in the area you gotta go. Booked on golfnow and got us both on for $58. It was his first time ever to play so I think he's spoiled moving forward. We just played a scramble to keep him from hitting 150+ shots and ended up with a 75. Sonoma Ranch out here is also great but dordnt really compare to Redhawk.

Buddy lived there for a couple years and that was his home course and where he got into golf for the first time. He is absolutely ruined. His golf life isn't based in reality now.

Super affordable and really nice. A crazy combination.

I looked up courses here before we came and when I saw them and the prices I knew I had to bring the clubs. Sonoma was really nice too but had some dead areas whereas Redhawk had absolutely none that weren't purposely dead. Sonoma was also in a neighborhood which blocked a lot of the great views of the mountains and Redhawk was just out on it's own and the only time your views were blocked was if you were in a deep bunker. I'm so sad that I have to go back to NLA courses that are double to triple the price and not half as nice.

NM has quite a few quality affordable courses.

I believe Indian Reservations are pretty much given free water.

Sandia, Cochiti, Twin Warriors and especially Black Mesa (hardest course I've ever played) are all legit and cheap for the quality.

Pako Ridge is the best of all but is $$$ because it is not Native owned.

Don’t forget Pinion Hills in Farmington.

Seriously considering looking for job opportunities out here now. I really love it here. The golf is a part of it but it's just a nice place in general.

Beautiful area but I prefer northern New Mexico over it. Having a place like Taos to ski and Santa Fe nearby is a plus.
