Has anyone ever tried their chicken. They are a franchise out of Louisiana that are located in gas stations. One of the stores in my territory is about to get one and i found out that they have jambalya and boudin bites as sides. Im really curious about the boudin bites..

We used to eat at the one in St Gabriel all the time. The chicken is pretty damn good and the boudin bites are not bad if you get them as soon as they are cooked.

Not bad at all. One is located in Sterlington. They have the fried boudin balls and they are pretty good. Like most places, if the owner or management is good, then the food is generally good. Popeyes for instance, the ones in Monroe suck but the one in Farmerville is fantastic. The lady that owns it works as hard as any of her employees and I think that makes the difference. Fresh, friendly & clean.

It is good! It reminds me of the Jr. Food Mart Chicken of yore.

really good chicken. they also have a lot of other fried offerings like crawfish pies, corn on the cob, and egg rolls.
the best/worst offering is fried shish kabobs. Imagine, bell pepper, sausage, chicken, and onions all on a stick and deep fried. heart attack on a stick.

Where's the nearest location to Baton Rouge?

they are all over Ascension Parish, BR, and Livingston. The question is where are you at in order to tell you.

Haven't tried it but I have had the Brother's Fried Chicken in New Orleans and they do a good job for the Taliban.

Pull out of teh park and take a left on old perkins and follow it to Airline. I believe the gas station on the left across from the wal-mart has one inside.
I have never personally eaten at one so you will have to rely upon others for an actual review.

They actually just came out with a pizza product as well. It's called "KK Pizza" and is pretty good as well.

I was with someone who ate one of these today and their take on it was "It's no Hunt's Brothers!!"
Now, in my opinion, Hunts Brothers is Gas Station Fine Dining, but I will still give the KKs a try before long.

krispy krunchy chicken also has the biscuits like popeyes USED TO make. the popeyes biscuits now suck, theyre like little bricks, not the old-style drop biscuits that i used to love that were drenched in butter. oh yea, and krispy krunchy puts honey butter on top.
