USL announced that the finals for both leagues (Championship and League One) have been cancelled and will not be played due to several team members on finalist teams testing positive for COVID-19.

USL League One announced today that the 2020 League One Final scheduled for Friday, October 30 will not be played.
The cancellation comes after multiple individuals in Union Omaha’s covered persons list tested positive for COVID-19. All individuals have been immediately isolated at home, are recovering in good spirits under the care of team physicians and infectious disease experts, and all local and state health and wellness protocols are being followed.
USL HQ, in collaboration with the Greenville Triumph, Union Omaha, and the League One Board of Governors, determined prior to the resumption of play this season that if needed, points earned per game during the regular season would be implemented to determine its 2020 champion. With 2.1875 points per game, Triumph SC has been named 2020 USL League One Title-Winners.
Championship

The United Soccer League announced today that the 2020 USL Championship Final scheduled for Sunday, November 1 will not be played.
The decision has been made for the health and safety of everyone involved after multiple persons on the Tampa Bay Rowdies covered persons list tested positive for COVID-19 upon a second round of rapid testing on Saturday morning at the Tampa Bay Rays’ medical facilities. The affected individuals have been immediately isolated at home, are recovering in good spirits under the care of team physicians and infectious disease experts, and all league, local and state health and wellness protocols continue to be followed.
USL HQ, in collaboration with the Tampa Bay Rowdies and Phoenix Rising FC, has therefore made the determination that the season will conclude after Tampa Bay and Phoenix each progressed through their conference playoffs to win the Eastern Conference and Western Conference titles, respectively, last Saturday.

El Paso gfy
El Paso is having a huge outbreak so I would think it isn’t unreasonable that several to many players are positive

I don't think El Paso had anything to do with it, since the only teams left were Omaha, Greenville, Phoenix, and Tampa.
