Doesn’t necessarily have to be new of course at that price range. I have an 08 Chevy I’m gonna keep for awhile, if motor blows I’m putting a new one in. However wife (no pics) has a 10 Saturn and we looking to trade in for a newer vehicle. Looked at a 19 Grand Cherokee 4WD for 29k but more than I want to pay. She prefers Ford but overall doesn’t care. TIA

So delicate; it’s a commercial, move on.

My only advice; don't do this to yourself.

ETA: This has nothing to do with the Superbowl commercial. I'm giving you this advice as a mechanic with 20 years experience.

Hard to find one under 30k that don’t have damn near 60+ thousand miles on it though. I agree, they just higher than I can go. I’d like a vehicle with less than 30 thousand miles

I've known a few people with grand cherokee's over the years. They have all had major engine or transmission issues well before they should have.

ETA: I'd get a Honda or Toyota as somebody recommended. Way less likely to have anything other than normal issues. Jeep's, in my experience, are the opposite. Statistically unlikely to get one that won't have major issues.

Should be able to get into a 15-16 Explorer around that price. May have higher miles.

Same goes for almost any mid-size SUV in that age range.

Look at the Acadia's and Traverse's if you're a GM guy.

I'd try to find a 15 or 16 Highlander with less than 100k, though. They can be had.

2020 or 2021 Honda CRV-EX....get the 0% interest

If you buy used right now be prepared to pay 5%-7% interest on a used car

Yea we looking at the Exploers also. I like GM personally even though she doesn’t, I’m the one paying for it though I think she’ll take a GM or any brand right now, that Saturn is rough and time to get rid of it

Good to know, I don’t know much at all about the Jeep except their windshields which are the easiest to replace

We recently bought a 2020 GMC Acadia with the second row being co-pilot seats.....really love it so far and it’s a super smooth ride.

You think Explorer is a good vehicle? Maybe Acadias?

Can get a fairly recent used Subaru Outback, Forester, or even Ascent for that price range.
