We’ll be down there this weekend for my 13 year old daughter’s volleyball tournament and whatever free time we have, we’d like to explore the town. It will just be my wife, my daughter, and myself. We can’t stand Mickey and Minnie so we don’t want anything to do with Disney.
I haven’t done any research yet so I really don’t know what else is down there.
Any great ideas that y’all can help us with?

There’s the Universal park; Sea World and < than 1 1/2 hours west is Busch Gardens in Tampa.
Cape Canaveral is about an hour east; I think they have space exploration exhibits but haven’t been so don’t know for sure.

Cape Canaveral is a great place to visit but takes time. Our visit was fall 2019 so I don’t know what the dreaded and feared COVID has changed.

You may hate Minnie and Mickey, but Disney springs is worth a trip. Plenty of restaurants to choose from.

Just avoid Magic Kingdom, and you'd probably have a great time.
Epcot's World Showcase is much more suited for adults.

I know this is random but we really enjoyed Hawkers restaurant.
Drive down to Tampa?

Disney Springs
Epcot
Perfect time to visit both. We love Ragland’s at DS. And Epcot is prime right now with their garden / food / drink season.
