You know where someone ask, "what to do here" or "where to eat here"

Like do you get curious about what they did or ate?

Definitely interested in what others on here end up doing/enjoying/disliking. I try to do trip reviews from longer trips, but it can be difficult uploading pics to imgur, linking each image here, writing and remembering the descriptions especially if you wait longer than about a week. You want us to start bumping threads and hold the posters accountable? It might work

They don't even have to post pictures but a brief review would work for me

Is it sad if I post a review to a thread of mine that didn't get any responses? Because I can do that review in the next 2 weeks

I do appreciate it when people ask for advice and they offer some kind of thanks or follow up. Otherwise it seems a little rude.

All the fricking time. It also validates if restaurants and bars that we recommend are even still open, and gives them the opportunity to tell us new things that have opened.

I’d like follow-up threads for sure.

What bugs me is when someone ask for a rec here and doesn’t even acknowledge the replies. It’s as if they were messing around in TD, just remembered the Travel board existed, and starts a thread like “what to do Cabo”. People start posting tips and I doubt OP ever remembered he even started a thread asking for help.

I feel the same way on the Food and Drink board, when someone ask for suggestions hm curious if they took them or did their own thing.

Both boards get a lot of hit and run posts.
