i was curious as to what is going on with lache seastrunk and his recruitment. texags.com has a thread going with some stuff about lache and a "street agent." i was curious if this is true, and curious to see if any other big name recruit has used something similar?

i know its only texags, but was wondering what was going on

TD even got linked in the thread

We loaded him down with about 100 reds from the Belle two weeks ago. It's all good.

texas fans are claiming that Lache has a handler...err street agent...get involved with his recruiting process. basically, goes to the highest bidder, i think thats how it goes.

pretty damning accusations, but i'm not one to say whether its true or false.

some of their 'insiders' or supposed insiders say that they expect UT to end their recruitment of Lache bc of this.

i say it's all bs.

eta: i also think it's just sour grapes bc they know they're on the outside looking in on this one.

Although there is always the possibility that there is some truth, I'm not exactly buying it. I think you're right in the sour grapes aspect that they aren't sitting pretty with what looks to be a very, very highly recruited player out of Texas.

The street agent thing seems to be just a BS rumor from jealous fans. Until something a little more factual is shown take it for what it is:BS

They're loading the armored car up next week. It's going to take a while to get from Harrah's to Lache's hometown so there will be a police escort.

Sorry Egg, but Texas fans just don't make things up because they are bitter. I refuse to believe that.

i originally had heard the "street agent" from texas fans and wrote it off as sour grapes. this line right here got me wondering if theres some fire to go with the smoke

i thought i heard at one time the brown bros from kansas (one goes to miami, other committed to them) had a street agent? is this is true or did i mishear it?

Very common in hoops, it's a shame it's making it's way in NCAAF.

If I've been sending all these chips to Baton Rouge for nothing, I need to know about it!
These things are expensive!

It's a 'mentor' when the kid signs with your school, 'street agent' when he doesn't.
