Looking to play golf in Tampa area at the end of this month. Anybody know of some courses who have the option to rent clubs?

I'll rent you my old set...But most courses have rental sets around the area.

I found an earlier thread, and it appeared that Streamsong was the consensus pick for best course to play. Does this still hold true? I looked at their website but didn’t see anything about club rental. Guess I can give them a call.

Just checked the map on Streamsong, and it is 1 hour 45 minutes away from where we are staying (N Reddington Beach area).

Any suggestions on some courses closer to the home base? An hour or less travel time would be ideal.

Innisbrook is a good option. They have 2 really good courses. Copperhead course is where the Valspar Championship is played and the Island course, which is just as good. About 30 mins outside of Tampa

Innisbrook is the best option for you around that area.

If you want to travel about 45 min south to Bradenton, I highly recommend Waterlefe Golf Club or Lakewood National Commander course

Checked into Innisbrook. It is only open to resort guests and members.

Maybe check into Lake Jovita (North or South course) or Saddlebrook resort (Saddlebrook or Palmer course)

TPC Tampa is nice. I rented clubs from them earlier in the year.

I looked into it, but all the recent reviews say that the greens are in terrible shape.

Waterlefe was awesome. Challenging course with tons of sand/water. Appreciate that rec, BeaverPRO.

94. Back nine got a little ugly after the 1.5 hour rain delay at the bar. Ha.
