for out of state tigers.....

if you see someone in LSU gear, do you go up and talk to them?
I always at least do a geaux tigers........but I see this about once a month or so. saw an LSU fan tonight at red rocks and gave him the geaux tigers......he was pumped.

Same...I give 'em a Geaux Tigers and that almost always gets a conversation started.

absolutely. it's weird here though. half of the time they're pumped, gimme a 'geaux tigahs' back, and wanna shoot the shite.
other half, look at me like i have rabies. it sucks because everyone here is hawaii fans, and if you think bama/osu fans are delusional (you're right,) you haven't seen shite. the rest of them are usc fans, just as annoying.

I have never seen someone in Oregon with LSU gear on. If I did, I would definitely give them a "geaux tigers"! Then, if they didn't seem freakish, I'd invite them over to my house to watch the game and have Gumbo and boudain balls.

I've gotten these...they're almost exclusively from folks who wear the gear but have never set foot on campus.

I went to Disney World one year during Mardi Gras and this happened to me. I thought it was because there were so many of them and they were tired of saying it. But then again, why wear the gear?

I saw a Tiger fan 3 sections away from me at a Diamondbacks game. I stood up and gave a huge GEAUX TIGERS!! The people around me thought I was crazy, but the guy heard me so it was worth it.

Okay you will appreciate this story being from Hawaii:
So I was on my honeymoon this summer in Oahu. My wife and I hiked up to the top of Diamond Head one day. I was wearing an LSU shirt. We get to the top and spend awhile up there taking pictures and enjoying the view. Soon, this older gentlemen walks up with wearing a U of Arkansas shirt and says, "Great, I finally make it to the top and there's an LSU fan already up here." And with a smile I replied, "You should be used to that by now, right?" Guy couldn't help but laugh.

I definitely sport my LSU gear when i go visit my mom in salem. I tiger baited two usc fans on the deschutes river trail in bend the 2nd week of august.

Always!! I saw a guy with LSU gear on from one end of the packed subway car to the other and yelled out a "GEAUX TIGERS" and he yelled back! My daughter can't stand it, but I'll go up to anybody with gear, or a car with a bumpersticker etc.

I have never seen anyone else up here with gear on. But have gotten a few "geaux tigers" from people. I wear LSU gear about 75% of the time I leave the house when I am not going to work. Got a "geaux tigers" in the Bronx Zoo, lol.

Always!! It's usually a "how bout dem tigers~!". 99% of the time it gets a response. There is actually someone in my office with a 2007 National Championship liscense plate on their car. I'm still stalking that one to see who drives it.

I figured you would appreciate that. Really was one a funny moment. Guy was really nice about it too. Good thing I didn't run into a Bama fan, cuz the story would be different I bet haha.

Around here, over half the people I run into - if I ask them - say they just like the colors and that's why they have the hat. They don't even follow the team.

I give a "Geaux Tigers" when I see someone wearing the purple and gold. Problem is one time on the interstate this girl almost ran me off the road trying to show me her LSU flag. I love the Tigers; but, let's be careful out there people!
