Pressure? competition? desire? He is by far the most talented back we have but he just can't seem to get over the hump

Here we go again.
He is the back that had the most potential coming into college 3 years ago.
I think Scott has definitely made clear that Keiland is not "by far" the most talented back. Scott will be blowing up NFL defenses. Unless something radical occurs, Keiland will not.
Hell if Murphy can put on some weight by the time the combines of 2010 roll around, he will be doing the same thing to NFL defenses. Kid runs like he 240 lbs. Crazy strength for his size.

How the hell would you know?

No, Vincent was way better his freshman year. Had better competition (Addai and healthy Broussard) and he had over 1000 yards and blew it up in the NC game.
Williams did not have that kind of competition as a freshman and had what, 400 yards?

At the end of the day I think it will be Richard Murphey if you look back at the careers of all of them imo............

I was meaning that he generally may turn out to be lots of promise as an underclassmen and then somehow loses something along the way. Hopefully, he will be able to return to form.

Nothing. It's a long season, he will put a hurt on some teams.

Keiland's a very good RB. Tigers are indeed fortunate to have two others who are even better.
Scott had only seven carries but turned them into 102 yards and 2 TDs. Murphy had 5 carries for 36, Williams had 4 for 17. Nothing terribly wrong with that picture. Who can argue with Scott as the primary back? He's gained 262 yards in 23 carries with 4 TDs. Eleven and a half yards a tote.
Keiland Williams and Terrance Tolliver are the head-of-class offensive recruits of 06 and 07. The fact that they can't get on the field speaks volumes about the strength of the LSU program. That said, there's usually something more than meets the eye. I look forward to watching them both play when the time is right.

KW might've bulked up too much and lost his explosiveness. lsusports.net now has him at 6'0 229lbs.

Make that 3. I think Ridley runs harder/better than KW so far this year.

Best post ever on here. This is what "talent" is.

i love how if someone happens to have a differing opinion than some of you message board talent evaluating experts they are idiots and dont know anything. anyway there's 2 reasons i asked that question. 1. he is 3rd and sometimes 4th string and so far this season he's playing like thats where he belongs on the depth chart . and secondly Les wont even say his name. he refers to him as #5.

You are saying he is in Miles doghouse. Because of that, his confidence is down and he is giving up. Is he going to become a Broussard?

He was the most talented guy coming out of HS. He got beat out by a better player. I don't know why you are complaining anyways, Charles Scott is a monster.

Doesn't matter if he got beaten out. He needs to remain focused and not give up on himself in order to help the team.

Not complaining at all. Scott is a beast! But I honestly believe KW is the most complete back of them all. he can around through and away from people. he's big and he's fast. but he's just not consistent

I hope all the backs get a chance to show what they can do. Don't need to get in a dependency thing on Scot.
