I know it’s 2 months out and I hate to cancel cause I put a lot of work in this trip but is it worth it with the mask mandate

I’m not sure why you think the mask mandate will make a material difference in a Napa trip
I would still go and don’t think it would even be noticeable for trip enjoyment level

Drinking wine doesn’t require a mask. So you should be fine.

The worst part of the whole trip will be the airport and the flight. I sit at the bar and have a few beers then go to my gate just in time to get on the plane.
Once you're in NAPA you'll mostly just be wearing a mask on the way to and from your table. Do you have to get reservations for tastings? That is something I'd be sure to do.

We went last summer during Covid and it wasn’t a big deal. Mask in vehicle (if you have a driver) and when moving around at wineries. Tastings were outdoors which won’t be a big deal for October and no cave/cellar tours. We are due back in October as well and agree that the airport/flight will be the biggest pains you will deal with.
