Does anyone know how the RV parking lots work for away games (or particularily at AU) ?
We rented an RV for this game and can purchase a pass but we want to be with the LSU RVs. I would think the vast majority of campers in the paid areas would be for AU right ?
We should be there by Thursday night. Would that be too late to get a decent spot by the LSU RVs ?

Hi TR, about the only pass parking is for the big AU donars.
There is still plenty of free RV parking. Primarily in the grass fields in the triangle formed by Donahue, College, and Woodfield. It is open to everybody. At the Iron Bowl, every other RV was an alternate...LOL...Auburn, Bama, Auburn, Bama...
Let me know if I can help with directions, times, etc.

We've RV'ed in those lots and there are lots of LSU fans in those areas. There's also an ABC liquor store nearby, on corner of South University and S. Donahue.

What time do RVs' start rolling in?

We've always gone up on Friday, arriving in the afternoon. Last year we had a little trouble finding a spot, so the earlier the better. I don't know if they prohibit parking on Thursday. Don't know why they would; these are all empty grass lots.

Just pulled this from AU Fan Guide. You can leave tonight:
RV Parking Information
To prevent unsafe conditions, a number of
RVs with permits will be allowed into parking
areas at noon on Fridays. RVs arriving prior
to their designated time may park in the large
grass parking areas located at the corner
of Donahue Drive and Lem Morrison Drive,
beginning at 4 p.m. on Wednesdays. RVs
must leave campus by 4 p.m. on Sundays.
No-RV zones remain in effect in the core area
of campus and other sites. Please refer to the
Game Day Map in this guide to determine
which areas are designated No-RV zones.
