Playing there for the first time this week. Headed in Thursday for a practice round before our club championship on Friday & Saturday.

Any advice or feedback from anyone who's played it would be greatly appreciated.

Which course are you playing, Crossings or Falls? We practiced there in college.
Note the low side of all the greens, that is where the grain will fall, center of the green is your friend, and DO NOT chase pins.
Course should be in primo shape as our tournament was out there about this time every year

If you have a slope enabled range, be sure to bring it as it makes a difference. A lot of subtle elevation changes on approach shots and a few pretty nice tee elevation changes.

Thank you very much for the breakdown!

We were told that it was supposed to be one round at each for the two days. I might need to go look around BR tomorrow for a range finder with slope then. There's usually one in our group, but with 65 golfers and a $200 per head Calcutta, I don't think people are going to be as willing to help one another. Plus they pair us with players we don't normally play with.

Play the par 3 course if you ever get a chance.

Yeah that was our afternoon plan for Thursday! That's pure nostalgia for me. I grew on on a Par 3 course in GA walking 54-72 holes every weekend. I'm stoked to say the least

Play your practice round on crossings if you get the chance. More to learn about it than falls. Both courses are in good shape. Moe’s bbq in semmes is a good spot to watch games if that is of interest to you on Saturday after your round. Enjoy!

We just played both courses last weekend and they are in great shape. Everything Rendevoustavern said it's spot on. The only things I'll i can add is because of the elevation changes I found it played longer than it looked even with the slope factored in and laying up is your friend.

Good luck. Just played fall last weekend. Tough to hit the fairways, and awkward lies if you do with difficult, undulating greens. Tough, tough

Good to know!

I sincerely appreciate everyone's advice! Still not sure which course one of the guys in our group booked for tomorrow morning, but we're gonna do the Par 3 course after. And we're playing each of the courses Friday & Saturday. They're keeping us in the dark until Friday AM.
