Team A is trading WR Emmanuel Sanders.
-current record (5-3)
-Tom Brady on BYE
-needs Week 9 QB fill in
-loaded with WRs and never plays Manny Sanders.
Team B is trading QB Matthew Stafford.
-current record (7-1)
-has Josh Allen as well rostered as starting QB
-Josh Allen already completed his BYE and will never play Stafford at QB.
-could use WR depth instead of carrying Stafford, but not able to drop him due to his value.
-Josh Allen/Manny Sanders stack benefits team B.
I’ll hang up and listen… to hear the boards take.
TIA!

This isn't a factor in evaluating the trade IMO. The player's value is set regardless of how often the team starts him. It's not that owner's fault that he has better players than the other team.

Yes its fair...
How would Stafford for E. Sanders not be fair?
Like the other poster stated, you can only evaluate the trade on the "traded" players involved.

You didn’t need to add any analysis. That is a fair trade

No it doesn’t.
Trade is fair for sure. If I’m Team A I maybe consider streaming a QB instead, but it’s not a bad call to get a solid backup QB in this scenario.

I've been trying like crazy to make this deal for Stafford for weeks. I've even offered Sutton or Clahe'll. Instead of Sanders and can't get Stafford off the guy who also has Brady. Frustrating ad hell.

Sounds like the value is there for both teams. Can't fault either of them for making it. Yay
