Was anybody else told that their tent was too big @ the North Texas game? Apparently there is a rule that it can't be bigger than a 10 x 10. I think that is bull shite. Wondering what everybody else thought.

You should know this if you tailgate.

Tents should be no larger than 10’ by 10’ and may not be staked into the ground. Limited space is available near the Alex Box parking lot for larger tents. Please call LSU Sports Properties at (225)578-7049 to reserve a space.

That's why people buy 6 10x10's and make one huge one out of it. I guess that's the loophole.

Yea, a cop came by and said that was okay...ours are 10x15's so he wasn't really concerned.

So you can set them up today after 5pm? What about leaving a car in the parking lot? We did this in the past to run electric to an inverter.

It's in the fan guide. I guess like everything else it is selectively enforced. .It also says no generators...don't think I've ever seen anyone asked to turn those off.

I take that back...it now says discouraged. It was banned at one time, though. Must have just changed that. Carry on...

Anyone know how fast Lot K fills up? Will we need to get there early (before noon) to get a good spot?

we saw them telling people shite on the parade grounds about it.

its a selective enforcement and I'm thinking it was because of the weather.

I had never seen it enforced until that game. fwiw its bullshite

Got to be some stinky arse people after camping with our weather conditions. It cannot be a pleasant experience sleeping in a sauna. Please explain how this is fun.

It is in the fan guide but as long as your tent is not staked into the ground it should be fine, regardless of size. Use sandbags if need be.

I saw them try to enforce it on the parade grounds, but there's really nothing they can do. They guy was like "yeah, ok" and then just never took it down. They came back later and told him again, and he still kept it up.

What are they going to do, throw you in the slammer for violating the fan guide?

When/why did they start policing this shite? no stakes, tents too big, no driving around campus to drop stuff off, trailor issues, grills can't be too big, no set up prior to friday night, trailor issues Etc, etc.?

shite's weak - it's tailgating for a football game, give me a break
