I need yalls opinion...

so long story short... i am co-owner of a small bait company based out of S.W.Va. Recently we were persuaded to get a patent on our product by a guy in the business that knows his stuff. Well since all the patent stuff has gone through, my partner was contacted by one of the founders/original owners of Cabela's;(we had been in contact with them through the years). They heard we had gotten a patent and said as soon as we get established they would sell our bait. Well needless to say this is probably the best news that i have ever received in my life. Anyway, i just wanted to throw up some of the package mock ups i received through the packaging company and just what yall like best. I come to the farkers first because i believe many of you have the best eye's when it comes to graphic design out there, (really though, there is a lot of talent on this board... it puts me in a good mood if i'm having a bad day...) Anyway, i'm gonna throw up the packaging mock ups first then some shots from the new web site. I appreciate any and all suggestions. Thanks.

theyre good, but this board can make them great. expect a looter or two on the packaging, though

Looks good. I like the blue one better; although blue is my favorite color.

I think the blue sticks out pretty good.. So i guess if its sitting on a shelf with other packs of bait, thats a good thing...

yeah, the majority of people that see the packaging online like blue the best, but when i show people the pics on my cell phone they like yellow, i guess im gonna have to print them out and do some surveying

I know it's kinda rough, but here are my thoughts...
1. Logo (especially the words "Stubby Steve's" within the circle) bigger and more prominent. Like a damn target for your hand.
2. If you are starting your distribution locally - incorporate a "support a local merchant" idea into the packaging.
3. Perhaps even outline the whole thing in a red square (yellow or even red on the blue package).
I don't know what your competition's packaging looks like, so not sure if this helps or not...
