We’re you pleased with your experience?

Running a black Friday sale and I loaded up on TP5x.

It’s pretty much all I use unless I’m playing a competitive round. Never had any performance issues. Make sure you get Mint (5A) or Near Mint (4A).

I got 5A.

Found one on my last round and I was hitting them to spots I’ve never driven to. Lonnnnnng. Better than the Snells. Got one to almost back up on a partial wedge shot too.

Excited for them to come in. $80 for 3dz shipped.

I found a TP5x yesterday and was getting retarded spin on it for a used ball. Would you say these used balls are equal quality to a DTC urethane cover ball for the same price?

NM looks like you already answered that
I was pulling the ball back with my long irons on the green. Never been able to do that consistently during a round before.

It was the weirdest thing. Kept it for 6 holes before bottom dropped out and I left it somewhere.

I went even on that 6 hole run. Was stoked. Long but spins it’s arse off around the green

I only get balls from LGB.com. May have a few with a sharpie to mark the ball, but generally all are in near perfect shape

Sweet! Thanks for the feedback. I got lost in reviews after I purchased and started having some doubts.

They're awesome, and if you're in LA, they usually have them to your doorstep in two days

If you get 5A it’s a great deal. All of mine are in great condition. Avoid refinished at all costs. The shitty cover they put on them wears off after one swing.

I used golf balls.com because it’s the same business model and they’re based in Louisiana.

Yes I have. I usually buy a small bucket of current ball that I’m using. That usually lasts quite awhile

Lostgolfballs is excellent. And they ship fast, too. Never had a problem with them.

Pricing looks like it's high for premium balls. Are they just low on stock?

Comparing sites and Golfballs.com is pretty much a few dollars less than new.

I just did the same after reading this thread. I use the website enough to stock up on deals. I discovered the TP5x the same as others in here. Found one looking for my K-sig, gave it a shot and immediately regretted that I still had a couple dozen Kirkland balls left. Noticeable improvement across the board.

I've bought dozens and dozens of 5a balls from lost golf balls, and I don't need a whole hand to count the number of balls that had a scuff or blemish beyond an individual's marker identifier.

I haven't done it yet, but they are based in Sugarland (just outside Houston) and they will apparently let you pick the balls you want. So you can get even more assurance on quality going that route if you're able to.

Thanks for the heads up.

What does everybody think of the TP5 vs TP5x? What club speed would justify buying the softer ball versus the harder?

My order came in in 2 days. Had 2 tp5 balls, 1 discolored and a couple with marks. I also had about 6 more than I ordered. Will use them again for sure.

TP5X ball is legit. YRMV, but I found it to be a good 10-20 yards longer than mob-x and it stops on a dime with approaches. I’ve found my new ball. Reminded me of Chrome Soft results, but longer.

I haven't tried the tp5, but I really liked the x. I guess it's the less soft one of the two, but coming from the 3 piece Kirkland, it was incredibly soft feeling off the face. It also went longer and stopped shorter than k-sigs. Like I said, better in every way.

I also don't know enough about balls in general to speak to club speeds like that. My driver swing is probably around 108 these days and the x seemed liked a perfect fit for me if that helps.

$20doz for mint Srixon Z’star in yellow.
I had to get 5doz for free shipping after the 15% off. That’s incredible.
