Bro you seriously don't understand what the founding fathers wanted and its repugnant that you call yourself an American of you want to persecute based on religious beliefs.

I remember being lectured that The Rapture would happen if Bill Clinton was elected in 1992.

The guy cried when he won because he didn't want the world to end.

(Don't gloss over the fact that if you are strong in belief you are supposed to welcome The Rapture)

Uh, it is well known all the founding fathers were strong Christians. They founded the country on accepting my religion, not the muslims. Their religion didn't even exist then.

I am a Christian and republican but I keep the two separated as the founding fathers intended why can't you?

You apparently are misguided in your knowledge of this subject. It wasn't a separation of religion and government. It was a separation of DENOMINATION and government. The only reason is the FF didn't want one Denomination governing over another. They didn't want another Church of England calling the shots.

This rhetoric is the biggest farce ever spouted. Separation of church and state means people are free to worship God without govt persecution. Instead, the concept has been twisted to use as an excuse to kick God completely out of politics. That was NEVER the intent of the forefathers. The Constitution is based on Christian principles. Kicking God out of govt means kicking the Godly principles of freedom, liberty, law, accountability, and justice out of our govt.

Christian conservatism hijacked the republican party and has allowed the dems to take over this country.

This.

The reason young people hate voting Republican is because this Christian Right has made it the party that is "anti gay" and "anti pot". Whether you think its true or not, that is what young people see. And it will ruin the GOP, which is a shame because fiscally conservative ideas will be a casualty which is devastating.

Are you honestly saying Islam did not exist when the founding fathers came to America? You also seem to lack the knowledge that several of our founding fathers were atheist. SEPERATION OF CHURCH AND STATE. You're so ignorant your vote shouldn't count.

Being against pure hedonism and against the harm it brings to society is not claiming persecution.
