It's math. If he holds and wins NC, WI, and MI then he wins.
If he loses MI then he loses.
If he loses WI but still wins NC and MI then he has to win either NH or NV.
If he loses NC then he has to take Nevada which is unlikely.
Right now it's all about MI.
