I wanted to go Kyle over Kurt yestersay but wasn't sure if the pole points still counted. I think they evened out anyway

And don't worry about "sucking" right now. I'm not doing well at all myself. At least you're actively asking, participating, involved, and interested. I would much rather have someone like you in the league than someone who starts off hot, then shits the bed and forgets all about it half way through the season
tBirdSpur, I'm looking at you

This is exactly why I jumped to your league. My work group has the type of people that quits midstream when the shite starts to unravel thinking they are done. I am not gonna lie, I wish the 9 number went to 11 or 12 but everyone has the same number. Good luck.

Happens every year. People either lose interest because they don't realize what a long season it is or just get so far behind and quit. I admit that there is a learning curve to this and I hate to see people get frustrated. That is why I keep pushing for people to ask questions and I give a few tips when I can. I also appreciate you (B&B) wanting to keep this thread active. I died pretty quick last year.

Yep, it was a lost cause after the first or second week

Made a note in the message section of our board on Yahoo to check this thread. I don't know if anyone reads that or not.

Ever wonder how your teams compared with other players? There's a way you can check after the races. Go to your Roster page. At the top where you pick "Roster, Team Info and Groups", click on our group, "2016 F.A.R. League". Under the heading "Group Standings", you will see the segments (Spring, Summer, etc) and at the far right you will see "Weekly Performance". Click on that tab and it will show you the scores for everyone for the entire year. On this board, you can click on ANY of the scores posted and see what that player picked that week. The scores in red with the line through them are the lowest score for that player posted so far and does not count toward their total (Lucky Dog). This can and will change as the segment goes on. If you have a score lower than the one in red, the board will not count it and only score your highest scores always eliminating the lowest. The green scores posted are the highest scores for our entire group for that week.
On the Group Standings page, you will see the points for the Segment and Season. Those are the same right now, but once we move into the Summer segment, the Segment column will reset but the Yearly column will keep adding your scores from each week. On the far right of this column, you will see the Weekly Finishes. This is for our Group. If you finish in the Top 10, Top 5 or have the winning score from our group, it keeps a tally here for the entire year.
I know this is long but it's the answer to some questions I've had in my other group and wanted to pass them along in case anyone else was wondering. Please ask questions if there is something you don't understand.

If your racer wins the pole (Ex. Kurt Busch) and you are given 10 bonus points. If you don't start him that week are you still given those 10 points even though (Busch) would have been on your bench?
There's a perfect example to the answer to this question on our Weekly Performance Board right now. Using the instructions I gave above, click on the Week 3 score for the Alabama Gang, 312 . (We are going to pick on him because he's in first place.)Look down his grid to group A and you will see that he got 10 points for Kurt Busch winning the pole, but started Kyle Busch. Follow the line over for Kurt and you will see that the 10 points are in the Qual (Qualifying) Bonus square and again further right in his Total Points square. All 8 drivers of your team count toward Q points and those count whether you start the racer or bench him.

Really going out on a limb isn't he

I've already gone with Harvick twice this season. Don't want to use him up at the very beginning of the year.

Harvick is $$$ at this track which is why I saved him
