Per sources, Vikings won’t be back in their facility until all of their test results are in. League contact tracing has identified 48 close contacts with the eight people who tested positive in Tennessee. Contingency/rescheduling plans are being discussed, obviously.

The league reportedly told the Steelers to proceed with game preparations against the Titans, which were forced to shut down its facilities until Saturday following eight new positive tests among the organization.

The NFL is still discussing plans for postponement which include pushing both games to Monday/Tuesday night or rescheduling bye weeks to assist with games in Weeks 7 and 8. All ideas are on the table.

Sounds like a rescheduling is a lock, at least for Titans/Steelers.

This blows. If game is put off to a different week, going to cost me $5 to pick up a kicker to replace Boswell. That will also frick my waiver wire priority.

I have thelien so I’d need to replace him but I’ll flex in someone

which player would you rather flex DJ Moore or Mostert In 1 PPR and which one has the better outlook ROS.

You know you don't have to put in a waiver claim for a kicker. Let them clear and pick up one when they all become free agents after waivers process.

Rescheduling is not a lock - "NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reports that "as of now" the Titans' Week 4 game against the Steelers remains on for 1PM ET on Sunday."

Titans coach Mike Vrabel also saying they will be fine still playing the game on Sunday even if they have to lock down the facilities through Saturday.

Both of the above statements obviously assumes this situation doesn't get worse.

In our league, all claims are handled the same. You have to pay $5 to pick up a player. Waivers run every night. When you pick up a player, you move to the back of the line.

Ah wow. I stand corrected. Never heard of waivers running every day/night and no free agents.

Every player is $5?

Every player you pick up is $5.
Every trade is $5 for each team.
Every loss is $5.

Never have liked the rule of charging per transaction. I get that it makes the pot bigger in the end, but not everyone spends their money the same. Just seems like it isn't exactly fair to everyone.

It serves a lot of purposes. Keeps everyone interested the whole season. No one just throws in the towel half-way through. Each team has to pay an extra $75 to start the season as a deposit towards loss charges and player transaction charges. It's not that much money, so no one really worries about it. But it increases the competitiveness and, as you said, makes the pot bigger.

NFL wants to and intends to play the Titans-Steelers game as scheduled Sunday; one of the contingency plans to allow for additional testing and contact tracing to occur would be to move the game to Monday night, per source.

Sunday’s game between the Steelers and Titans is being postponed per multiple sources. They are considering all options to reschedule, Monday night as one of them. This will all be based on test results.

The #Steelers and #Titans will play either Monday or Tuesday, source said. So, being postponed, but not for very long.

How does that work if they play Tuesday? Would points still be counted for week 4?

I think i saw a tweet from Matthew Berry saying that they would update how it would be handled for week 4. I can't imagine that it wouldn't count for this week.
