The #Panthers ruled out WRs Diontae Johnson (rib) and WR Adam Thielen (hamstring), while QB Andy Dalton (right thumb) is doubtful.

So it'll be Bryce Young throwing to backup receivers on Sunday in Denver.

QUESTIONABLE.

Zach Sieler was ruled OUT earlier Friday by McDaniel. Kohou OUT, Duck DOUBTFUL.

Tua is listed as questionable, but only because he’s still technically on IR, to be activated Saturday.

I think I’m committing to Javonte over Taylor.

I wonder if Kupp and Darnold situation would have (or will) resulted in any different scenarios had MIN won that game.

Now LAR is right in the division mix. Gotta keep him.

Per sources, there’s a real chance Bengals WR Tee Higgins, who injured his quad in Friday’s practice, has to miss Sunday’s game against the Eagles. The Bengals are planning to go right up until game time before deciding, but there’s pessimism about his chances to play.

Packers QB Jordan Love will undergo tests Monday, but there’s optimism he avoided a long-term injury today, per sources.

Love kept playing after tweaking his groin but eventually had to come out. Status TBD for next Sunday’s showdown against the #Lions.

Jaguars WR Brian Thomas Jr. could miss 2-4 weeks with a chest/rib injury suffered Sunday, per sources. Scans today will determine full extent and next steps, though. Thomas is also getting a second opinion.

Update sounds promising

quote:

Jaguars coach Doug Pederson said Brian Thomas Jr. (ribs) is “day to day” and there’s a “chance he could play this week.”

Looks like the imaging came back alright, then! Thomas Jr. will be a target magnet against the Eagles in Week 9 should he actually be able to suit up. For what it’s worth, Thomas Jr. did tell ESPN’s Michael DiRocco that the MRI showed “nothing, everything was good.” We probably should err on the side of believing Thomas will miss this week as things stand right now, but it’s not totally impossible that he winds up playing.
