Did something happen with Chris Godwin to give people hope that he'll play this year?

Someone in my guillotine league just used $70 of FAAB to pick him up.

Did I miss something?

I think there was a SMALL glimmer of hope that he'd be back for the playoffs. But, that's the NFL playoffs and not the Fantasy playoffs.

That's what I heard too. Maybe this guy just saw a big name on waivers and it didn't register that he was hurt. Oh well, $70 I don't have to bid against later.

I just dropped Diggs. Maybe he'll grab him in the next waiver cycle.

Not that anyone cares about my fantasy team, but I got Nix and Cedric Tillman this morning for zero faab. Plenty of people have faab left too. How does that happen? I had to tell someone.

I like Nix this week, but I think I like Stafford long term. Still deciding between those two.

Tillman for zero faab is awesome. Your league must be sleeping at the wheel. He's been long gone in my leagues.

Been in this league since 2009. Never seen a group of people that get so attached to who they draft. We MIGHT have 1 or 2 trades a year. Haven't had any this year. A lot of players slip through the cracks like this.

We had a guy drop Nucua the week after he got hurt and I was able to snag him. We have an IR spot, so no reason to drop him. People do crazy stuff

Expand the bench. It will facilitate more trades with less value on waivers.

Sorry I derailed the thread. We'll get back to news and notes when something else pops.

I still think week 12 or so. Hunt is performing fine.

But we might see him week 10-11.

Ravens QB Lamar Jackson (back/knee) is not practicing for a second straight day. Ravens HC John Harbaugh described yesterday as a “rest” day for Jackson, but he’s not out there again today. With two games in five days, Jackson’s status obviously becoming a storyline.

If Lamar doesn't play, I'm getting chopped in my guillotine. He has carried me.

They play again Thursday. He may just have a little boo boo or something. I wouldn't think too much of it. Obviously had to put it in the thread though.

Puka had to leave practice after hurting his knee.

Update from McVay coming tomorrow

Nacua’s injury is to the same knee that necessitated him going on IR earlier this season, a team official said.

ETA - it is now being reported that it isn't serious.

The reigning NFL MVP is back: Lamar Jackson just walked onto the practice field.

Jackson has missed the past two days with back and knee injuries.

On Friday, Jackson returned to practice, which is an encouraging sign for the Ravens heading into Sunday’s game vs Broncos.
